PVEP Promotes Cooperation with Tyumen Region, Russian Federation

On March 26, 2026, at the headquarters of PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP), PVEP hosted a working session with Mr. Andrey Vadimovich Panteleev, Deputy Governor of Tyumen Region, and a business delegation from Tyumen Region, Russian Federation.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang, Member of the Board of Members, presented an overview of PVEP’s capabilities, operations, and development orientation, highlighting the long-standing and effective cooperation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, including partnerships with Zarubezhneft and the Vietsovpetro Joint Venture.

Mr. Andrey Vadimovich Panteleev, Deputy Governor of Tyumen Region, introduced the region’s strong potential, noting its contribution of around 50% of Russia’s oil output and 80% of its gas production, as well as its well-developed oil and gas service and technology ecosystem. He also presented the Tyumen delegation, comprising organizations and enterprises specializing in oil and gas services, drilling equipment, chemicals, and high-tech solutions. Enterprise representatives highlighted their capabilities in providing technical services and technological solutions for oil and gas activities.

Both sides acknowledged the strong potential for cooperation and agreed to enhance information exchange and explore concrete opportunities aligned with their development strategies. The Tyumen side also invited PVEP to attend an Energy Forum in Russia later this year, with PVEP expressing interest and considering participation as appropriate.
