PetroVietnam Appoints Top Management of PVEP

On 18th April in Hanoi, Vietnam Oil & Gas Group (PetroVietnam) has announced the Decisions to appoint top management of PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP).

On behalf of PVN were Mr. Pham Xuan Canh, Standing Deputy Secretary of Communist Party, Member - Board of Directors; Dr. Phan Ngoc Trung, Member – Board of Directors; Dr. Nguyen Quoc Thap – Vice President, Dr. Nguyen Quynh Lam – Vice President, and representatives from functional Divisions. For PVEP were all leaderships from Board of Directors, Executive Board and other Divisions, Subsidiaries and Branches in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

At the ceremony, Mrs. Bui Thi Nguyet – General Manager of Human Resource Division (PVN) has announced the Decisions from PVN, in which Dr. Tran Hong Nam – General Director of Bien Dong POC (PVN) – is appointed Chairman, Board of Directors of PVEP, and Dr. Tran Quoc Viet – General Manager of Planning Division (PVN) is appointed President & CEO of PVEP.

On behalf of PetroVietnam, Dr. Phan Ngoc Trung wished all leaders and every members of PVEP to unite and overcome the current difficulties; help the company achieve more and more success. Dr. Trung also committed that PVEP will always have full support and assistance from PetroVietnam to fulfill every assigned tasks and missions.

PVEP Chairman Tran Hong Nam and President & CEO Tran Quoc Viet expressed gratitude to PetroVietnam and PVEP to entrust and have confidence in them, and also thanked the predecessors for their great contribution in the development of PVEP.

The new leadership of PVEP stated that the assigned responsibilities are extremely important and heavy, but with the trust and concern of PetroVietnam, with the solidarity and support from PVEP collective, they committed to do their best. Dr. Nam and Dr. Viet also called on all staffs and employee of PVEP to unite and take more responsibilities to overcome the forthcoming challenges, together strive for sustainable development.
