Mr. Truong Quoc Lam, born in 1975 in Nam Sach District, Hai Duong Province. He graduated from the National Economics University with a major in Insurance Economics and also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Having dedicated many years to the insurance sector, Mr. Truong Quoc Lam has held key positions at PetroVietnam Insurance Joint Stock Corporation (PVI), now PVI Holdings, including Director of Project Insurance Department (2007), Director of Training & New Product Research Department (2007), Director of Technical Insurance Department (2007-2009), General Director of PVI South Company (2009-2010), Deputy General Director of PVI (2010-2011). Since August 2011, he has served as Deputy General Director of PVI Holdings, concurrently as Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of PVI Insurance Company, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company during the period of 2019-2020.

In November 2020, Mr. Truong Quoc Lam was appointed as the Head of the Investment Economics Department of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN), and by September 2022, he assumed the position of Chief of Office of PVN.

Recognized for his work capabilities, management experience, and leadership in various roles and specialized fields, Mr. Truong Quoc Lam was appointed by the PetroVietnam to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) from January 1, 2025.
