Mr. Hoang Ngoc Trung was born in 1967 in Hanoi. He graduated Bachelor of International Economy at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and MA of Project Management & Finance at University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
He started working for Vietnam – Russia Joint Company GUARTON at Moscow in 1993 and then for international company in Vietnam. In 1996, his career at PetroVietnam began as officer of International Relations Division..
In 2006, he was promoted to Deputy General Manager of International Relations Division and then to Acting Deputy GM in February 2013. In May 2013, he was promoted to Chief of Administration Office of PetroVietnam.
In more than 20 years of experience in oil & gas industry, Mr. Hoang Ngoc Trung has greatly contributed to external cooperation, helped open wide the prestige and trade brand of PetroVietnam to domestic and international partners.
