Recently, the delegation of PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) led by Vice President Vu Minh Duc visited engineers and workers on FPSO PTSC Lam Son Vessel and Thang Long Wellhead Rig.

Joining the delegation were Mr. Luu Duc Hoang, Member of the Board of Directors of PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC); Mr. Cao Huu Binh, Project Director, Block 01/97 & 02/97 and the leaders of Petroleum Production Services Joint Stock Company (PPS).

The delegation checks the operation of production on Thang Long Wellhead Rig

The Board of Management of Block 01/97 & 02/97 reported the delegation on the operation results in 2018. Despite many difficulties and challenges in 2018, with high efforts, Block 01/97 & 02/97 successfully completed all objectives with safe producing. Total oil production of two Thang Long - Dong Do fields reached 1.9 million barrels, equivalent to 108.96% as planned, no incidents occurred. Oil sales in 2018 reached USD 168.33 million. The operation cost has been maximized when using only 86% of approved budgets. The project has contributed to the Group and PVEP making an important contribution to the State budget.

In 2019, the project with the support of service providers such as PTSC, PPS, PTSC Marine ... strives to produce safely and ensure the targets assigned by the Group and PVEP.

On behalf of PVEP, Vice President Vu Minh Duc appreciated the achievements of all staffs, engineers and workers of Block 01/97 & 02/97 to safely produce oil in Thang Long - Dong Do field and beyond the plan, the crew members of FPSO PTSC Lam Son have preserved the vessel in a very good condition to maintain stable producing.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2019, Mr. Vu Minh Duc wished the collective of engineers, workers on board and all rigs at Thang Long - Dong Do field to develop the spirit and results achieved in 2018 to move towards safer and higher efficiency in 2019.

On PTSC / PPS side, Mr. Luu Duc Hoang, member of PTSC Board of Directors, shared about the successes that PTSC / PPS achieved in 2018. Mr. Luu Duc Hoang thanked the cooperation and together share difficulties with PVEP. He also gave thanks to all officers and employees who are operating the vessel safely and effectively.
