PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP), Binh Son Refinery (BSR) and PVD Training are the 3 PetroVietnam (PVN) subsidiaries recognized at the Quality Innovation Index QII - 2017 Award and Announcement Ceremony.

On the morning of June 24, 2017, the Quality Innovation Index QII - 2017 Award and Announcement Ceremony for companies applying processes conforming to QAS-2017 and QII-2017 Quality Brands Outstanding took place in HCMC. Present at the ceremony were representatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Planning and Investment, and leaders of 103 award-recipient companies. 

The Quality Innovation Index - QII is an enterprise assistance model through continuous surveys and improvement reports done by the Asia Pacific Quality Union in coordination with InterConformity Assessment and Certification (Germany), and Global GTA annually according to international standards.

QII aims to help companies develop innovations and innovative ideas together with suppliers; actively create competitive advantage in products, services and brands; encourage companies to protect brands, compete through quality according to international standards; improve strategies on the basis of application of modern management system, models and further promote in-house innovation through technology ownership and application in business operation on the basis of improve efficiency, quality according to international standards. 
As of June 2017, the program has surveyed and updated profiles for over 500 companies, 400 of them have started applying the QII according to QAS.

According to the QII-2017 report, there were 103 outstanding companies applying processes meeting requirements of QAS - 2017 and QII - 2017 brand development. 
Thanks to their successes, brand and prestige over the years, as confirmed by government agencies, partners, the domestic and international business community, 3 PVN subsidiaries including: PVEP, BSR, PVD Training have been selected and recognized as meeting QII-2017 and QAS-2017 standards.
