CEO NGO HUU HAI AND PVN ENTOURAGE ACCOMPANY PRIME MINISTER NGUYEN XUAN PHUC ON OFFICIAL VISIT TO THE US

From May 28th to 31st, 2017, CEO Ngo Huu Hai and Vice President Pham Nhu Khanh and a PVN entourage headed by CEO Nguyen Vu Truong Son accompanied Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on an official visit to the US. This is the PM's first visit to the US in his current capacity, and also his first meeting with US President Donald Trump.

Mr. Dinh Van Son, member of the Board of Directors of PVN and leaders of PVN departments were also part of the delegation. 
While in New York, CEO Ngo Huu Hai took part in a roundtable discussion with US companies, and met with Exxon Mobil to discuss detailed cooperation prospects in Ca Voi Xanh well, block 117-119 on Vietnam's continental shelf, a gas well with huge reserves that PVN, PVEP and Exxon Mobil has recently entered in to contract. 
In the capital of Washington D.C., the CEO also took part in discussions organized by AmCham and the US-ASEAN Business Council and the reception hosted by AmCham. CEO Ngo Huu Hai also sat in on Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc's meeting with CEO of Murphy Oil - Mr. Roger Jenkins; CEO Ngo Huu Hai took part in the signing ceremony with Murphy Oil, SK Innovation and SOVICO in block 15-2/17 witnessed by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross. The CEO also witnessed the cooperation signing ceremony between PVN CEO with GE on energy.
