CEO Ngo Huu Hai accompanies the Prime Minister to visit Cambodia

On April 24th, 2017 CEO Ngo Huu Hai and a PVN entourage accompanied Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on his official visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia

During the trip, CEO Ngo Huu Hai and PVN's CEO Nguyen Vu Truong Son took part in the Prime Minister's meeting with representatives of Vietnamese companies investing in Cambodia and overseas Vietnamese working in Cambodia.
At the meeting, CEO Ngo Huu Hai informed the Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade and leader of PVN on the progress related to block XV and a number of recommendations to ensure effective exploration and produciton, as well as full observance of commitments to the host country as per the Petroleum Contract. 
The Prime Minister and leaders at various levels took note of PVEP's recommendations related to block XV and supported the implementation of the project's 3rd exploration phase, and pledged to help PVEP soon receive its amended Investment Certificate. 
On the occasion, on the morning of April 25th CEO Ngo Huu Hai also visited PVEP OVS branch office in Cambodia. Following the PVEP OVS report on block XV's operation since 2000, the CEO took note of and commended the efforts of PVEP OVS and the Cambodia representative office in closely following the guidane provided by PVN and PVEP in safely and economical implementing projects, particularly negotiations which successfully persuaded the host country to allow for the implementation of the 3rd phase of exploration with the committment to reduce 1 well drill as compared to original committment (which will save about 3 million USD). 
CEO Ngo Huu Hai shared in PVEP OVS's difficulties and urged OVS to quickly and actively work with relevant partners to realize the project on time, meeting commitment to the host country. 
In the evening of the same day, CEO Ngo Huu Hai attended Prime Minister Hun Sen's reception at the Peace Palace in the capital of Phnompenh.
